Introduction
Tao Diet or Tao Regime
This Diet is very effective for weight loss end helps to lose around 15 kg in two months. For patients who wish to lose weight is preferably to avoid Tay Yin time of the year (14/02-3/05, 13/07-2/08, 2/10-21/10 of 2011), as during this period weight loss effect is less effective
This diet is very effective and really recommended for diabetics of both types of diabetes
Patients feel thirsty during first two days of diet, but there is very little of hunger, most people don’t feel hunger at all. Thirst is usually decreasing in third day

Taking alcohol, coffee or smoking are contraindicated to this diet

General explanation of Tao Diet
Tao Diet should be continued during period of 28 days. Patients may have a rest after each period, returning to their normal food and fluids intake. Period of rest differs depend of each patients case. Patients should avoid food excesses during the rest periods. Regime may be repeated twice, three or four times during the year.
Patients notice considerable weight improvement and disappearance of rheumatic pains after two first periods of regime. Diminishing or disappearance of organic conditions or pains is noticed after three periods of regime. Noticeable disappearance or improvement of most neurological condition happens after four regime repetitions. Patients feel great balance.
Tao Diet is not based on theories of calories, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, but un the energetic aspect of Yin and Yang in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Food is a Yang and fluids are Yin according said regime and Chinese medicine. It is a reason that food and fluids should not be taken together.
Breakfast
1 Early morning half glass of water or small cup of tea or herbal infusion without sugar should be taken very slowly. Breakfast continues no earlier then 15 minutes later.
2 One Bowl of porridge of any grains or serials. Bowl must be a size of hand with opened fingers.( see picture above)
3 One apple or one pear
4 Not any drink
Lunch
1 One bowl of meal prepared with 25% of cooked or fresh legumes and 75% of boiled dry grains or legumes. (Example 25% of chopped carrots, peas, corn, broccolis, beans, chopped onion cooked together with rice)
2 Apple cake or 1 apple or 1 pear
3 1 cup of warm tea or infusion without sugar taking slowly 15 minutes after the lunch
Afternoon tea
1 Drink slowly a cup of warm tea or infusion without sugar or water
Diner
1 One bowl of meal prepared with 25% of cooked or fresh legumes and 75% of boiled dry grains or legumes. (Example 25% of chopped carrots, peas, corn, broccolis, beans, chopped onion cooked together with rice)
2 15 minutes later drink slowly cup of warm tea or infusion without sugar or water

1 Grains or cereals buckwheat, millet, pot barley, whole-wheat grains, rice, rye, sweet corn.
2 Legumes and vegetables as carrots, chicory, asparagus, celery, cabbage, courgettes, lettuce, radish, soybean sprouts, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, fennel, beans, peas, leek, onion, spring onion.
3 Dried beans, peas, sweet corn, soy
4 Fruits apple or pears
5 Herbs and spices salt, cumin, basil, bay leaves, cardamom, chives, cinnamon, thyme, cloves, coriander, pepper, dill, fennel, garlic, ginger, mustard, nutmeg, oregano, oils preferably olive.

Recommendations
1. No smoking as it may be dangerous during limited fluids intake
2. It is better to start Tao Diet with new moon
3. Usual physical activity should not be restricted
4. It is better to finish the meal with light sensation of hunger
5. There should not be any distraction during the food intake as the digestion starts from the moment food enter in the mouth
6. There should not be any medication intake during Tao Regime except absolute necessity.
7. Regime should not be done partially
8. Products used for regime preferably should not be sprayed with insecticides as it blocks catalysis of minerals, which are necessary for all chemical reactions of organism
