Edema or swollen legs during pregnancy
There are 35% of pregnant women develops edema during their pregnancies, that often is a indication of big baby. Some of the factors of appearing of edema are vein stasis and modification of metabolism of water and electrolytes.
Constipation is frequent between pregnant women and may become worse during the course of pregnancy. Explanation of that is in slowing bowel movement due to increasing reabsorbing of water from intestine by kidneys.
